Spinosad has not been evaluated for pregnancy or lactation in the cat. Trifexis® (spinosad in combination with milbemycin oxime) is approved for puppies age 8 weeks and older. Comfortis® (spinosad alone) is approved for puppies and kittens 14 weeks of age and older.
